There are no known Medieval records of wedding cakes as we know them today.

I have been a Medieval Re-enactor for several years and have a great interest in Medieval cuisine,

with this knowledge I suggest for a Medieval Style Wedding -

A rich fruit cake, covered in almond paste (marzipan) and decorated with a selection of

flowers, foliage, fruit, nuts, herbs or ribbons.
